Zelenskyi wins presidential election in Ukraine — CEC results after 100% of e-protocols processed

The second round of the presidental election in Ukraine took place on April 21.

According to the official results, 73.22% of voters voted for candidate Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and for incumbent President Petro Poroshenko — 24.45%.  Zelenskyi is leading in Kyiv and in all regions of Ukraine, except Lviv region.

The voter turnout in the run-off vote was 61.37% across Ukraine, including the polling sites abroad, the CEC said.

As many as 13.541 million voted for Zelensky, while Poroshenko received 4.522 million votes.

A total of 2.31% of ballot papers were found invalid.

The official results of the counting of the protocols of the voting at the second tour of the elections of the president of Ukraine will be announced approximately on April 30.

As we reported earlier, according to the official voting results of the first round of presidental elections, Volodymyr Zelenskyi got 30.24% of the vote (5,714,034 votes), and Petro Poroshenko – 15.95% (3,014,609 votes).
